Can I change the name of a drawing or file?

You can easily change the name of a drawing and file.

Here's how it goes:

Rename drawing

  1. Log into web.edcontrols.com;
  2. Select the correct project;
  3. Go to the Library tab;
  4. Find the drawing whose name you want to change in the list;
  5. Now double-click on the name;
  6. Change the name;
  7. Press Enter to confirm.

Rename the file

  1. Log into web.edcontrols.com;
  2. Select the correct project;
  3. Go to the Library tab;
  4. Find the drawing whose name you want to change in the list;
  5. Now click on the name;
  6. Click on the little pencil;
  7. Change the name;
  8. Press Enter to confirm.

Tip: You can also change the name of the drawing or file during the upload. In the Library, you can see the timeline of all the changes that have been made.
